This Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Queen Mary University of London focuses on materials science research within the Department of Chemistry. The successful candidate will refine strategies to employ DNA nanotechnology for controlling the formation of 2D materials-based heterostructures, which will serve as transducers for electrical sensing applications. The overarching goal is to establish a knowledge-based platform to rationally engineer 2D nanomaterial-nucleic acid hybrids for optimal device bio- and gas sensing, as well as for optoelectronic applications.
