**Job Description**
This position at OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center’s Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) involves working on multiple ongoing research studies and serving as the first point of contact for participants. The role primarily supports research staff by collecting and analyzing data, keeping meticulous records, conducting literature searches, and preparing reports with minimal supervision, contributing to advanced cancer treatment options as part of an NCI-Designated Cancer Center.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Working knowledge of how to safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials or chemicals following Federal, State, and University regulations and guidelines.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to analyze data and keep records.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological Science
• Chemistry
• Physical Science or related field
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 12 months research laboratory experience (with Bachelor’s Degree)
Other:
• Will accept 48 months equivalent experience in lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree for a total of 60 months research experience.
