**Job Description**
The Research Fellow will join the multidisciplinary Hydrogen Research Group to optimize metal hydrides and design solid-state hydrogen stores and compressors. The role involves managing and developing solid-state hydrogen technology for multiple projects, including the OceanRefuel project, focusing on single and multiple stage metal hydride compressors, prototypes, system integration, next-generation materials, heat transfer media, and novel extraction methods.

• Strong understanding of the properties of metal alloys / metal hydrides
• Hands-on laboratory experience and knowledge of experimental methods related to solid-state hydrogen storage
• Characterizing the thermodynamics and kinetics of hydrides

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Materials Engineering
• Applied Physics
• Chemistry
• Another relevant field
