**Job Description**
The project, “Anticipatory Robotics,” aims to improve Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) by developing a “Robot Body Language” wherein messages, including emotions, are incorporated into the movements of collaborative robots. This Research Assistant position will contribute to this project.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in robotics motion planning and control
• Familiarity with trajectory optimization for single- and/or dual-arm cobots
• Knowledge of movement primitives and multi-objective optimization
• Practical experience with industrial or collaborative robotic arms (e.g., UR, KUKA, ABB)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and ROS
• Experience working on interdisciplinary projects involving both technical and human-centered aspects of robotics
• Demonstrated ability to carry out independent research, as evidenced by publications in reputable journals or conferences
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:

• A related field
