The position manages and implements admissions recruitment plans specific to the expanded high school program offerings at SCS. The Assistant Director is responsible for the creation of a customized relationship-based advising for programs assigned by the Director of Admissions and Executive Director of Enrollment Management, in partnership with the high school programs department.Additionally, this position may require supervising an Enrollment Manager for High School Programs, if applicable. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:In interactions with prospective students, incorporate aspects of the roles of facilitator, coach, customer service representative, and supervisor, working with parents of high school students via email, phone, or at recruitment fairs when needed.Proactively seek out and counsel prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities for study at Georgetown, providing one-on-one admissions counseling to diverse populations.Review and issue scholarship awards to high school students entering our summer, year-round, and unique population programs.Oversee the management of thousands of started applications to these programs, acting as the lead point of contact for reviewing applications for admission to SCS.Manage an Admissions Review Committee for each program assigned to ensure accurate review of all student applications and compliance with federal laws and regulations.Collaborate and lead a team of academic program staff and faculty directors on information and file sharing while determining the best fit for success in our applicant pool, reviewing applications for quality, ensuring accuracy and legitimacy of documents, calculating cumulative GPAs, and reviewing academic courses.Learn and know Banner, the application system (Target X) as well as the CRM system (salesforce), running feeds, adding data, and working within student records.Manage the high school inbox in a timely fashion, stepping in during times of need or high volume to ensure the operations of admissions is consistently maintained andparticipating in Commencement week activities.Work InteractionsTheAssistant Director of Admissions, Pre-college Programshas daily interaction with the high school programs team, Director of Admissions, and Executive Director of Enrollment Management, as well as with high school prospects, their families, and other stakeholders. The incumbent hasdaily interaction with different areas of SCS and GU, particularly Academic Programs, Strategy, Marketing and Enrollment Management.Requirements and QualificationsBachelor’s degreeThree or more years of progressive experience in an organizational settingStrong knowledge CRM and Application Systems such as: Salesforce (Target X) and Banner preferred.
