**Job Description**
The Human Sensorimotor Control Laboratory at the School of Kinesiology seeks a temporary postdoctoral researcher to advance efforts in developing a robotic exoskeleton for upper limb physical rehabilitation. The role focuses on translating an advanced prototype into a minimum-viable-product for clinical use, involving the integration of new sensors, and redesigning hardware and software. This position also contributes to commercialization efforts and clinical trial research, including data collection, analysis, and presentation.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Competence in mechatronics
• Proficiency in computing languages such as C++, Python & C#
• Ability to collaborate effectively with people from a variety of communities, backgrounds, and identities
• Experience in advanced controls systems, electromechanical design
• Experience in integrating force/torque sensors in robotic devices
• Experience in robot kinematics and dynamics programming
• Ability to work independently as well as in interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in entrepreneurship skill development

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Biomedical Engineering
• Related fields (Ph.D)
