Postdoctoral Fellowship Position

**Job Description**
This co-mentored postdoctoral fellowship position at Genentech focuses on investigating the transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of fibroblast responses to inflammatory stimuli in chronic lung diseases. The role involves designing and analyzing multi-omic experiments, identifying and integrating relevant datasets, and applying advanced computational methods to derive biological insights related to COPD disease biology from preclinical models and patient samples, combining both computational and wet lab work.

• Experience with single-cell and multi-omic data analysis.
• Experience with spatial assays and/or clinical data (preferred but not required).

Required Degree(s) in:
• Computational Biology
• Bioinformatics

**Experience**
Other:
• In-depth experience in high-throughput data analysis evidenced by publications (required for Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or Immunology).
• Prior experience with single-cell and multi-omic data analysis.
• Prior experience with in vivo or in vitro models, preferentially relevant to lung biology.
