Postdoc Researcher on information- and decision-support systems for sustainability and circularity

**Job Description**
This Postdoc position contributes to the development of digital solutions for informed decision-making in sustainable and circular manufacturing. The role focuses on data management, processing, and aggregation within ongoing research projects, notably the Lasers4MaaS project. Responsibilities include developing data exchange protocols for Digital Product Passports and Decision Support Systems (DSS), harmonizing data collection for sustainability and circularity assessment, and integrating these into manufacturing digital twins for industrial operations. The successful candidate will also explore collaboration opportunities within the institute on topics of data, digitalization, and decision support systems for sustainability and circular economy.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Expertise in one or more areas: Data management and programming (e.g., Python), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA), Multiple Objective Optimization (MOO)
• Recorded experience in planning and executing research tasks
• Excellent social and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with other researchers, industry, and policy actors
• Excellent English language skills in writing and speaking

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Ph.D
• Computer Science
• Information Science
• Industrial Ecology
• Operational Research
• Environmental Process Engineering
• Environmental Sciences
• A related field
