**Job Description**
The Temporary Robotics Research Assistant will be responsible for deploying drones for LiDAR, photogrammetry, and sensor data collection at nuclear facilities. This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and upkeep of drone systems, ensuring compliance with Department of Energy reporting requirements and site protocols. The assistant will also train and supervise students in drone operation and collaborate with project teams to optimize flight planning and data acquisition within a research environment.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Familiarity with Department of Energy site protocols and reporting procedures.
• Experience in drone deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

**Qualifications**
• High school diploma with three (3) years of experience OR two (2) years of post-secondary education with one (1) year of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Annual Salary: $49,920 (based on $24.00 per hour for 40 hours/week) Benefits: As a temporary employee, eligibility for employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, tuition reimbursement) is limited. May be eligible for health care benefits if working 30+ hours/week on average. Eligible to enroll in supplemental plans (e.g., dental, vision) with full payment.
