**Job Description**
The Natarajan Lab, located within the University of Cincinnati’s James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, is seeking a Research Assistant. The lab focuses on developing target and mechanism-specific compounds against disease-relevant targets, serving as early hits in the drug discovery pipeline. Researchers utilize cell-based assays to screen compound libraries for hit identification, followed by hit-to-lead optimization and advancement of selected lead compounds to preclinical development studies.
**Skills & Abilities**

• Strong communication skills for group settings
• Organizational and inventory management skills
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Bachelor’s Degree (or four years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training in lieu of education)
• Chemical or Biological Sciences (preferred for Bachelor’s or Master’s)
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 1-2 years in a laboratory setting (preferably with cell culture experience)
