**Job Description**
A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the Department of Chemistry at Queen Mary University of London. The role involves working under the supervision of Prof. Matteo Palma on developing nanohybrids platforms interfacing low dimensional materials with DNA for sensing and optoelectronic applications. The focus is on refining strategies that use DNA nanotechnology to control the formation of 2D materials-based heterostructures, where 2D nanosheets act as transducers for electrical sensing applications. The aim is to create a knowledge-based platform for engineering 2D nanomaterial-nucleic acid hybrids for optimal device bio- and gas sensing, as well as optoelectronic applications.
