This Postdoc Researcher position focuses on developing digital solutions to enable informed decision-making grounded on a sustainable and responsible use of resources in manufacturing. The role involves contributing to ongoing research projects, particularly the Lasers4MaaS project, by developing data exchange protocols for Digital Product Passports and creating Decision Support Systems (DSS). The aim is to build a digital platform that helps manufacturers create more sustainable and cost-effective products on demand, integrating information systems for seamless data exchange from operations to sustainability-based decision support within a manufacturing digital twin.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Expertise in data management and programming (e.g., Python)
• Expertise in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)
• Expertise in Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA)
• Expertise in Multiple Objective Optimization (MOO)
• Demonstrated motivation to develop in specified areas if full expertise is not met.
• Recorded experience in planning and executing research tasks.
• Excellent social and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other researchers, industry, and policy actors.
• Excellent English language skills in writing and speaking.
