**Job Description**
This postdoctoral position at Stanford University focuses on combining mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics, data science, and mechanistic biology to define the function and druggability of proteins. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in mass spectrometry and molecular metabolism, with additional expertise in areas such as data science (machine learning and AI), cancer biology, animal physiology, organic chemistry, E3-ubiquitin biology, and gene editing being a significant advantage. The selected scholar will contribute to projects aimed at elucidating molecular mechanisms of metabolic rewiring in cancer and aging, developing activity-based proteome profiling (ABPP) strategies for chemical lead discovery against undrugged or drug-resistant proteins, integrating mass spectrometry with genetic perturbations to define protein function, and developing automation strategies for large-scale proteomics and metabolomics.
