**Job Description**
The Climate Transformation Programme (CTP) aims to develop, inspire, and accelerate knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders to establish a stable climate and environment for resilient, just, and sustainable Southeast Asian societies. Climate change events are a new source of stressors with significant psychological impacts. This project seeks to broaden understanding of the psychological effects of climate change and how climate action contributes to coping and resilience, utilizing methodologies such as focus group discussions, longitudinal surveys, and intervention trials. Findings will support translational efforts to promote climate action and psychological health. The Research Fellow will be based at the Earth Observatory of Singapore (EOS) and engage in research activities aligned with EOS’s mission of conducting fundamental research on earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and climate change in and around Southeast Asia.

• Advanced statistical skills in multivariate analyses for intervention and longitudinal dataset
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Experience in supervision of students
• Positive work attitudes: independent, efficient, responsible, and responsive to feedback
• Scholarly pursuits and interest in research areas such as: Psychological aspects of climate change, Theoretical conceptualizations of stress, coping, and resilience, Development and implementation of primary prevention programmes for promoting psychological well-being
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Clinical Psychology
• Counseling Psychology
• School Psychology
• Educational Psychology
• Public Health
• Social Work
• Related disciplines
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• At least 3-5 years of relevant research experience, including scholarly writing, data analyses, and support grant application
Other:
• Experience in implementing intervention studies and large-scale surveys will be advantageous
