The PhD candidate will join the Controlled Chemical Reactions group to conduct exciting research on cold and controlled reactive molecular collisions. This involves investigating reactive collisions between state-selected atoms and molecules with exceptional precision in unexplored energy regimes, utilizing a crossed molecular beam machine with a Zeeman decelerator and resonance-enhanced multiphoton ionisation combined with velocity map imaging to gain detailed insights into molecular collision dynamics.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Interest in experimental molecular physics and physical chemistry
• Experience with vacuum systems, molecular beams, and lasers (ideal)

• Good oral and written English communication skills
