**Job Description**
This postdoctoral position at Aarhus University focuses on investigating chromatin regulatory processes and gene expression programs in neurodevelopmental disorders. The project will leverage human-induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) technology to establish hiPSC-derived brain cell models, complemented by mouse models, to understand disease mechanisms and risk factors. The role involves primarily research activities with potential teaching assignments, contributing to high-quality international research within the Department of Biomedicine.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Familiarity with studying epigenetic regulation in the neuronal system.
• Solid background in histone modification and chromatin regulation.
• Experience working with human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs) and hiPSC-derived brain cell models.
• Skilled in molecular biology techniques such as gene silencing and overexpression, qPCR, and flow cytometry.
• Experience working with mouse models.
• Familiarity with omics technologies and/or bioinformatics (advantage).
• Ability to lead research projects and collaborate across disciplines.
• Good interpersonal skills, inclusive and team-oriented.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
