**Job Description**
This role at SLING, the Singapore Lipidomics Incubator at the National University of Singapore (NUS), focuses on the development and optimization of mass spectrometry-based methods for biomonitoring. The position involves working in a vibrant, multidisciplinary research environment with top-class facilities and fosters collaborations between different departments at NUS, local clinical research institutes, and international partners. The team is particularly interested in analytical scientists with experience in testing or diagnostic labs/CROs operating under regulatory environments, such as ISO certification.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Hands-on experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, including ICP-MS
• Hands-on experience with method development for LC/MS of at least some of the following compounds: metabolites, PFAS, Phthalates, PCBs, and PAHs (required)
• Hands-on experience with method development for ICP-MS of heavy metals (required)
• Hands-on experience with operation and troubleshooting of LC, MS and ICP-MS
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Analytical or Chemical Sciences
• Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences
• Related disciplines
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• At least 5 years working experience in an analytical chemistry lab
Other:
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory or developing tests that have received regulatory approval is considered a strong advantage
