Senior Research Fellow

**Job Description**
The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N), established in 2010, is a pan-university research institute focusing on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It conducts translational research across the energy value chain, from generation to innovative end-use solutions, driven by industrialization and deployment. This position seeks a Senior Research Fellow to support research in power electronics for renewable energy systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery energy storage systems (BESSs), and electrolyzers, aligning with the university’s sustainability targets.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Solid expertise in power electronics analysis, simulation, and experimental validation
• Proficiency in tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSIM
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment
• Experience with grid codes, HIL simulators, rapid prototyping, or wide bandgap devices (plus)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Electrical Engineering
• Closely related field

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• 4+ years (Postdoc)
Other:
• Strong academic and publication track record
• Significant track record
