Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to investigate mechanical sensing and phenotypic switching in vascular smooth muscle cells and their involvement in arterial disease onset and progression. The Iskratsch Group, funded by the British Heart Foundation, exploits cutting-edge mechanobiological and imaging approaches to study the role of mechanical sensing and memory in cardiovascular disease, focusing on vascular smooth muscle cell mechanosensing and phenotypic switching.

**Skills & Abilities**

• Prior experience in bio- and/or nanofabrication (desirable)
• Vascular smooth muscle cell isolation and culture or ex vivo artery culture (desirable)
