The Iskratsch Group, funded by the British Heart Foundation, exploits cutting-edge mechanobiological and imaging approaches to study the role of mechanical sensing and memory in cardiovascular disease, focusing on vascular smooth muscle cell mechanosensing and phenotypic switching.
