**Job Description**
The MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research (MKI) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in observational extragalactic astrophysics. The successful candidate will join Professor Anna-Christina Eilers’ research group to investigate the evolution of galaxies, quasars, and supermassive black holes using observational data, machine learning techniques, and cosmological simulations. The group is actively involved in JWST Guaranteed Time Observation (GTO) and General Observer (GO) programs, an upcoming Large Program on the Chandra Observatory, and other programs from various observatories. MIT provides institutional access to facilities such as the 6.5-meter Magellan Telescopes, LIGO, TESS, and the new infrared time-domain telescope WINTER.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Physics
• Astronomy
• Closely related field (PhD required at time of appointment)
