**Job Description**
The Postdoctoral Researcher will join the Turner Lab at Washington University in St. Louis, which specializes in Precision Genomics. This field focuses on comprehensive genomic variation analysis to address critical challenges in genomic interpretation and translation. The role involves investigating fundamental limitations such as interpreting noncoding variation, identifying missed variants, improving workflow efficiency, understanding combined multi-hit variants, and exploring gene-environment interactions. The lab employs a range of approaches, including cutting-edge sequencing technologies, computational genomics, functional assays, and integrated data analysis. Example projects cover noncoding variation in neurodevelopmental disorders, genotype-phenotype correlations in 9p-related syndromes, methods development for genomic workflows, functional validation assays for candidate variants, and exploring genomic contributions to autism and cancer.
