**Job Description**
This role offers an opportunity to join the EPSRC-funded programme “Sustainable Multi Sector Electrification Using Advanced Integrated Motor Drive Technologies.” The program aims to undertake radical innovation in highly integrated electric motor drive technologies to reduce energy wastage, material use, improve power to weight and volume ratios, and extend service life. The successful candidate will lead and deliver individual and collaborative research in integrated electric motor drive technologies, contribute to the direction of research programmes within the Power Electronics, Machines and Control (PEMC) Research Institute, and pursue research in heterogeneous integration-based activities covering power semiconductor bonding, interconnect, packaging, thermal management, and reliability, developing new concepts.

• Significant prior experience in silver nano-sintering processes.
• Significant prior experience in testing and analysis of semiconductor packages.
• Consistent track record of published research in reviewed publications.
