**Job Description**
The Signature Research Programme in Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID) at Duke-NUS Medical School aims to pioneer the development and discovery of new and more effective methods for the treatment, prevention, and control of new and emerging pathogens. This exciting opportunity, funded by the National Medical Research Council (NMRC) and led by Dr. Alan Hsu, allows a proactive, detail-oriented Research Assistant to contribute to impactful research focused on the early identification of new pathogens, out of which new diagnostic tests, treatments, and control strategies will be developed.

• Able to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and instructions
• Initiative to contribute effectively to new protocol development

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biomedical Sciences
• Related field

**Experience**
Other:
• Prior experience in human primary cell culture and molecular techniques (advantageous)
• Prior experience in mouse handling and animal research (preferred)
