**Job Description**
The MIT Kavli Institute for Astrophysics and Space Research (MKI) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in observational extragalactic astrophysics. The successful candidate will join Professor Anna-Christina Eilers’ research group, which investigates the evolution of galaxies, quasars, and supermassive black holes through observational data, machine learning techniques, and cosmological simulations. The group is actively involved in multiple JWST Guaranteed Time Observation (GTO) and General Observer (GO) programs, an upcoming Large Program on the Chandra Observatory, as well as other programs from both ground- and space-based observatories. MIT provides institutional access to the 6.5-meter Magellan Telescopes, LIGO, TESS, and the new infrared time-domain telescope WINTER.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Physics
• Astronomy
• Closely related field
