**Job Description**
The position involves conducting laboratory research on translational issues in transfusion medicine, focusing on immune responses to transfused blood cells, with projects in autoimmunity, alloimmunity, tolerance, and aging. Responsibilities include participation in day-to-day experimental design, execution, data collection, and analysis for both human and animal studies. For human studies, the role encompasses managing recruitment, screening, scheduling, consenting, and performing lab tests. For animal studies, it requires comprehensive mouse colony management, including husbandry, genotyping, phenotyping, and daily monitoring.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biology (Cell and/or Molecular Biology preferred)
• Related field
**Experience**
Experience Required:
• One and one-half years of related experience (BSc)
• 1 year of laboratory experience (BSc in Biology or related field)
Other:
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred
• Experience in animal colony management and animal husbandry (strongly encouraged)
