**Job Description**
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate for the Child Health Institute of NJ at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of experiments concerning the study of molecular mechanisms of the regulation of synaptic transmission in the mammalian brain and human neurons. The role involves participation in lab meetings, seminars, and conferences, preparing manuscripts, aiding in grant applications, and is supported by career development training provided by the PI and the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in neuroscience and/or cell biology.
• Ability to perform molecular, cellular and/or electro-physiological experiments.
• Experience with cell culture.
• Experience with biochemistry.
• Experience with cell imaging techniques.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Neuroscience
• Relevant biological sciences
