The project focuses on employing synthetic chimeric autoantigen-receptors (sCAARs) to develop precise cellular immunotherapies for autoimmune conditions, pushing the limits of current cellular therapies. This multidisciplinary project, funded by ZonMW Open Competition, involves synthetic chemists, immunologists from Leiden University Medical Centre, and computational scientists from TU Delft, aiming to create next-generation synthetic CAAR cell therapy.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Independent in performing synthetic organic chemistry
• Experience with (immune) cells, microscopy imaging methods, and/or cell-based assays (highly preferred)
• High intrinsic motivation for multidisciplinary and translational research
• Good communication skills
**Qualifications**
