**Job Description**
The Nicol&Fassier lab at the Vision Institute seeks a postdoctoral fellow to investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms wiring neuronal networks. The project aims to understand how migrating neurons, developing axons, and endothelial cells adapt their behaviors when detecting chemotropic molecules, which are crucial for processes like axon pathfinding, neuronal migration, and angiogenesis. The successful candidate will work on identifying unique signaling patterns and their downstream molecular events and cellular behaviors associated with each chemotropic cue.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Previous experience in live cell imaging (welcome but not required)
• Ability to work independently in experiment design and realization
• Proficiency in high-end microscopy, fluorescent biosensor imaging, optogenetics, and genetically-encoded molecular tools
• Capacity to collaborate on deep learning-based image analysis pipelines

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Cell Biology
• Neuroscience
