**Job Description**
This ZonMw funded project investigates the long-term risks of chronic conditions, such as cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disorders, and neurodegenerative illnesses, in people with post-COVID. The research compares post-COVID patients to individuals with similar complaints after other viral infections (e.g., influenza, RSV) and to those without long-term symptoms. The role involves leading a systematic review, engaging with stakeholders (patients, healthcare professionals) to ensure patient-centered and clinically meaningful research, and contributing to the linking, management, and analysis of extensive, longitudinal healthcare datasets and cohort studies. The work aims to identify crucial conditions for further data analysis based on scientific evidence, clinical relevance, and patient perspectives.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Proficiency in data analysis using R or Python (a plus).
• Strong interest in infectious diseases, specifically post-viral syndromes.
• Analytically strong.
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, and preferably Dutch.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• (Clinical) Epidemiology
• Medicine
• Health sciences
• A related field

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• With systematic reviews or meta-analyses (a plus).
• Or interest in systematic reviews, data analysis, and scientific writing.

Annual Salary: Up to € 68,028 gross (based on € 5.669,00 gross per month for 32-36 hours) Benefits: Annual benefit of 8.3%, holiday allowance, travel expenses, career opportunities. Union Affiliation: Terms of employment are in accordance with the Cao University Medical Centers (UMC).
