**Job Description**
The DDLS Fellow will conduct research in Data-driven evolution and biodiversity at the Swedish Museum of Natural History (NRM) as part of the SciLifeLab and Wallenberg National Program for Data-Driven Life Science (DDLS). This role involves leveraging massive data streams from high-throughput sequencing, continuous environmental recording, and high-throughput imaging, with a strong computational focus on developing and applying novel data-driven methods, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to analyze large-scale datasets. The primary aim is to deepen the understanding of biodiversity and ecosystem change.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong computational focus.
• Expertise in innovative development and application of novel data-driven methods relying on machine learning, artificial intelligence, or other computational techniques.
• Experience in leadership and student supervision.
• Track record in obtaining research grants.
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Sweden or an equivalent degree from another country
Other:
• Doctoral degree completed no more than eight years before the application deadline.
• Research excellence within the field of Data driven biodiversity and evolution.
• Planned research within the subject field.
**Experience**
Other:
• Early career researcher (Ph.D. degree completed within the last eight years).
• Experience in leadership and student supervision.
• Track record in obtaining research grants.
