Research Assistant

**Job Description**
The appointed Research Assistant will work within the newly established Abu Dhabi Precision Medicine Virtual Research Institute (ADPMVRI) under the supervision of Prof Bas Rokers. The role involves developing and deploying solutions for managing and analyzing large volumes of neuroimaging, genomics, and health-related data, specifically focusing on identifying markers predictive of perceptual and cognitive impairment in health conditions prevalent in the region, such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis, obesity, and brain aging.

• Background in database management
• Neuroimaging data analytics
• Genomics data analytics
• Machine learning applications
• Artificial intelligence applications
• Programming experience with MATLAB
• Programming experience with python
• Programming experience with shell scripting
• Familiarity with UNIX/LINUX environments
• Familiarity working within a high-performance computing environment

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
