**Job Description**
The Research Fellow will join the Wu Research Group within NTU’s School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) to conduct cutting-edge research in textile materials for personalized healthcare and sustainability. The role focuses on developing advanced wet-spinning processes for conductive polymers to enable next-generation fabric-based sensors and thermoregulation systems. This position will contribute to NTU’s mission of pioneering materials research for sustainable healthcare and energy-efficient solutions, translating fundamental science into impactful technologies.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong hands-on experience in conductive polymer synthesis, fiber/wet-spinning processes, and characterization of fibrous materials.
• Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific programming tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, or equivalent).
• Good written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality research publications and technical reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions under tight timelines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research team.
• Experience in mentoring students or junior researchers is preferred.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Materials Science
• Polymer Science
• Textile Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Related field

**Experience**
Other:
• Strong hands-on experience in conductive polymer synthesis, fiber/wet-spinning processes, and characterization of fibrous materials.
• Proven track record in wearable electronics, fabric-based sensors, or thermal management materials will be an advantage.
• Experience in mentoring students or junior researchers is preferred.
