**Job Description**
The Faculty of Science at the University of Helsinki is seeking Post-doctoral and Doctoral Researchers to join the RESTART project, with an earliest start date of November 2025. These full-time, fixed-term positions are situated within the computational aerosol physics and urban meteorology groups at the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR). The RESTART project, funded by the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation, focuses on investigating future urban chemical compositions through the integration of state-of-the-art molecular-level simulations, automated reaction mechanism generators, and high-resolution local scale air quality modeling.

• Good programming skills
• Interested in code development
• Excellent skills in spoken and written English
• Research interests close to the project scope (merit)
• Prior experience of computational chemistry, physics and meteorology (merit)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Meteorology

• For Doctoral Researcher: Must hold or obtain the right to pursue a doctoral degree at the University of Helsinki by the start of the appointment or within the six-month trial period.
