**Job Description**
The Sailem Group is a multidisciplinary research team dedicated to advancing cancer care using computational and AI technologies. They develop innovative approaches combining deep learning, computer vision, and bioinformatics to extract actionable insights from multi-modal data including medical imaging, genomics, and clinical records. A core focus is discovering predictive biomarkers for personalised cancer treatment, with strong emphasis on explainability, robustness, and clinical relevance. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with biomedical datasets, contribute to high-impact research, and design, develop, and apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques. The successful candidate will work on multimodal learning tasks to uncover predictive and explainable biomarkers of cancer progression and treatment response, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and external partners.
