Post-Doctoral Associate

**Job Description**
A Post-Doctoral Associate position is available in the Research Laboratory of Prof. Serdal Kirmizialtin at New York University Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will focus on the development and application of advanced molecular dynamics techniques to investigate Atmospheric Water Harvesting.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Extensive experience in the application of molecular dynamics simulations to molecular systems (both methods and applications).
• Experience in Atmospheric Water Harvesting, metal organic framework modelling and machine learning (highly desirable).
• Solid background in physics and chemistry, particularly statistical mechanics and percolation theory.
• Experience in materials modelling for fluid separation from frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent record of research accomplishments.
• Experience with modern sampling techniques such as metadynamics, machine learning.
• Good computer programming skills.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience in Gromacs, MAPS, PLUMED and Quantum Mechanics software.

• Related field
