**Job Description**
The University of Helsinki’s Faculty of Science invites applications for Post-Doctoral and Doctoral Researchers to join the RESTART project. Researchers will work within the computational aerosol physics and urban meteorology groups at the Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR). The RESTART project, funded by the Jane and Aatos Erkko Foundation, focuses on studying the future urban chemical cocktail by integrating state-of-the-art molecular-level simulations of aerosol-forming organic compounds, automated reaction mechanism generators, and high-resolution local scale air quality modelling. The role involves theoretical and experimental methods to understand particle formation and urban atmospheric processes.

• Good programming skills and interested in code development
• Excellent skills in spoken and written English

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemistry
• Physics
• Meteorology

Other:
• For doctoral researcher position: Must either have or obtain the right to pursue a doctoral degree at the University of Helsinki within the six-month trial period.
• Research interests close to the project scope and prior experience of computational chemistry, physics, and meteorology are a merit.
