**Job Description**
VHIO, through its Academy and the new VIDA postdoctoral programme, aims to train and inspire the next generation of leading cancer researchers and medical doctors in Oncology. The VIDA programme fosters excellence in interdisciplinary and intersectoral cancer research through inclusive recruitment and impactful training, adhering to Open Science principles and high research quality standards. This second call offers 8 fellowships.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Medical sciences (Cancer research)
• Biological sciences (Biology)
• Computer science
• Engineering (Biomedical engineering)
• Physics (Biophysics)
• Mathematics
Other:
• Possession of a doctoral degree (Ph.D or equivalent) at the call deadline. Researchers who have successfully defended their doctoral thesis but not yet formally awarded the degree are eligible, provided a letter from the University confirms the estimated award date.

• 4 – 10 years (Research Experience)
