**Job Description**
The Leverhulme Centre for Research on Slavery in War, a collaboration between the University of Nottingham and King’s College London, is seeking Early Career Researchers for its inaugural cohort. This interdisciplinary initiative aims to be the first comprehensive attempt to understand the relationships between slavery and war, transforming global responses to modern slavery in conflict settings. The role involves conducting primary and secondary research within one of the Centre’s four research strands, contributing to new methodologies, and expanding the research portfolio in this thematic area.

• A track record of publication on relevant topics
• Experience working across and with multiple disciplines
• Knowledge of research methods, research design, explanation, and understanding
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Relevant field (PhD required by time of taking up role)

• Experience or demonstrable interest in working as part of a research team
Other:
• At a relatively early stage of academic career (not yet held a full-time permanent academic post, and not held postdoctoral positions to pursue independent research for more than three years)
