**Job Description**
The Sreenivasan Lab at NYUAD is seeking a Post-Doctoral Associate to conduct functional MRI studies of working memory. Research in the lab focuses on the neurobiological mechanisms supporting and constraining working memory ability, involving collaborations with Psychology and Biology faculty. The role supports the principal investigator’s research, with encouragement for successful candidates to develop independent research projects as part of training for an independent research career.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Strong background in functional neuroimaging
• Experience in decoding and/or encoding models
• Experience with recurrent neural networks (preferred)
• Strong computational skills
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or equivalent programming languages
• Strong publication record in the field of working memory or a related area
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Psychology
• Neuroscience
• A related field
