**Job Description**
The Cyber Security & Privacy lab (CSP-laboratory) is seeking a post-doctoral or research associate to conduct research in cyber security and privacy, focusing on existing and emerging networks and communication systems. The group’s research is rooted in system, network, information, and computer security, with an emphasis on experimental work. Key research areas include security and privacy in mobile telephony (5G, 6G, ORAN), satellite/airborne communication, other wireless systems/networks, and AI/LLM/ML security, privacy, and trustworthiness, as well as anonymous or privacy-preserving communication.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Skilled and comfortable with experimental work in cyber security.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Passion for security and privacy topics in different application contexts.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experimental experience with software radios, 5G user equipment, VPNs, Tor, or other hard- and software relevant to the described systems and networks.
• Up-to-date software development and machine learning skills, including work with ML libraries, multimodal AI models, etc.
• Exposure to security and privacy research work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of research with publications in top-tier conferences.
• Excellent experimental skills.
