This two-year fellowship at the UCLA Immunogenetics Center provides specialized training in Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics for individuals holding an M.D., D.O., D.P.M., Ph.D., or D.Sc. degree. The program prepares trainees for board certification by the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI) and HLA Laboratory Director certification by the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), focusing on diagnostic techniques, clinical consultation, and laboratory management within both solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant programs.
