**Job Description**
The University of Leeds’ Priestley Centre for Climate Futures is expanding its Climate Evidence Unit (CEU) and is recruiting Researchers. The CEU aims to provide independent, robust, and timely evidence to support and challenge decision-makers in accelerating decarbonisation and building climate resilience. Researchers will translate existing climate research into actionable evidence, projects, and outputs for public, private, and third-sector organisations, contributing to policy-facing outputs, events, and externally funded contract work. This involves producing rapid evidence reviews, policy analysis, scenario modelling, specialised reports, briefings, evidence synthesis reports, expert advice, consultancy, and contract research, leveraging academic expertise to maximize climate ambition and action nationally and internationally.

• Extensive experience working on climate change.
• Commitment to delivering collaborative, research-led climate policy and innovation.
• Ability to work with university experts and external partners across a range of disciplines to deliver research consultancy.
• Expertise in climate change.
• Significant experience of working as part of diverse teams.
• Background in climate mitigation and adaptation (welcomed).
• Experience in assimilating research findings and translating them for non-academic audiences.
