**Job Description**
The Clinical Research Assistant is responsible for coordinating and overseeing clinical research protocols, primarily observational studies, investigating hematology malignancies such as hairy cell leukemia within the Division of Hematology. This role involves patient identification and eligibility assessment, discussing research studies with patients and families, obtaining informed consent, assisting with IRB submissions, and collaborating with an inter-disciplinary research team to ensure data collection, reporting, integrity, and compliance with all institutional and sponsor regulations.
**Skills & Abilities**
• Knowledge of medical terminology (desired)
• Clinical research certification from an accredited certifying agency (desired)
• Computer skills, with experience using Microsoft Software applications (desired)
**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological sciences
• Health sciences
• Other medical field
