**Job Description**
This Clinical Research Assistant position supports an established team in Ophthalmology focused on understanding blinding pediatric retinal diseases and identifying patients for treatment trials. The role involves reviewing medical records to extract ophthalmic and genetic data for analysis and publication, preparing statistical reports, and assisting with study visits for clinical trials. The assistant will also manage documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Committee on Clinical Investigations (CCI) submissions and coordinate activities between the hospital and research laboratories.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Facility with EXCEL
• Familiarity with MatLab, R and other analysis programs
• Analytical skills to gather and interpret data
• Well-developed communication skills
• Problem-solving, troubleshooting abilities and resourcefulness

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• STEM
• Psychology
