Clinical Research Assistant (HS)

**Job Description**
This position provides assistance in support of clinical research studies for the Spine Research Institute, with oversight from the College of Medicine Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). Responsibilities include assisting with the implementation and coordination of studies, participating in the recruitment of study participants, performing behavioral or diagnostic testing, and assisting with the collection, maintenance, and reporting of clinical research data.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Computer skills with knowledge of database software applications (desired)
• Experience in research capacity (2-4 years desired)
• Knowledge or experience in specialty (desired)
• Experience in phlebotomy (desired)
• Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens (desired)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Biological Sciences
• Health Sciences
• Spine and other musculoskeletal disorders
• Equivalent combination of education experience
