Clinical Research Assistant – Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

**Job Description**
This position is for a Clinical Research Assistant involved in both scientific research and research management within the Clinical Osteoarthritis Research Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The role includes conducting measurements on human subjects, scheduling appointments, computerized data collection, managing study databases, evaluating procedures, assisting with meticulous data entry and validation, formatting references, and supporting the Principal Investigator’s research program. The assistant will perform research activities based on established protocols, troubleshoot and analyze procedures, prepare for experimental protocols, operate equipment, record and consolidate data, track project progress, present results at lab meetings, and develop quality controls.

Annual Salary: $47,132.80 - $68,328.00 (Estimated, based on hourly rate of $22.66 - $32.85) Position Classification: Professional Staff Benefits: Coverage begins on day one for health, dental, and vision insurance, including health expense accounts with generous employer contributions. Employer-paid life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and various additional voluntary insurance plans are available. Paid time off, including vacation and sick, begins accruing upon hire, plus ten paid holidays. One paid discretionary day is available after six months of employment, and paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, military service, and parental leave is available after 12 months of employment. A retirement program with a generous employer contribution and additional voluntary retirement programs (457 or 403b) are available.
