**Job Description**
We are recruiting a full-time Clinical Research Fellow to complete an MD with the University of Manchester, with an initial duration of 12 months, extendable to 2 years by mutual agreement. The successful candidate must hold current registration with the General Medical Council. This role involves supporting an experimental medicine study, funded by a Wellcome grant award and hosted by the University of Edinburgh, which is integrated within the Respiratory theme of the Manchester BRC. The study focuses on investigating a new technology for identifying bacteria in the lungs of critically ill adult patients suspected of having ventilator-associated pneumonia, conducted in the critical care unit of Salford Royal Hospital. The Fellow will provide essential medical support for these studies, including performing bronchoscopic sampling.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Medicine (MD)
