**Job Description**
The Counselor will work in the Yeshiva University Counseling Center, providing individual, group, and crisis intervention therapy to undergraduate and graduate students. This position also involves participation in university outreach programs, staff meetings, and workshops. It is a one-year post-doctoral position, during which the incumbent will receive supervision toward licensure.

**Skills & Abilities**
• Skills necessary to complete intakes, create treatment plans, and implement short-term psychotherapy and group therapy with undergraduate and graduate students
• Skills to complete a suicide assessment and to be involved in crisis intervention
• Proficiency in the treatment model used, with preferred familiarity with more than one treatment modality (e.g., CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy)

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Counseling
• Clinical Psychology

**Experience**
Experience Required:
• Pre-doctoral internship completed prior to start date
Other:
• Applicants working on the completion of a doctoral dissertation will be considered
• Prior experience working in college counseling centers, with interest and experience in a specialty area (e.g., eating disorders, substance abuse, women’s issues, trauma) preferred
• Interest in positive psychology and in designing and implementing programs on campus
