**Job Description**
As part of an interdisciplinary team, this role involves developing approaches for automated and large-scale provision and integration of energy systems data and models. The successful candidate will apply data science methods for transparent energy systems analyses, processing and semantically enriching collected data using developed methods, before transferring it to a knowledge graph-based metadata platform. Collaboration with stakeholders from energy research will focus on increasing data and software interoperability, enabling the automated reuse of energy systems analysis processes. The position requires designing scalable, transparent, and interoperable interfaces for big data processing in the context of scientific, AI-driven energy systems research, in line with FAIR and Linked Open Data principles.

• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence and data analysis methods
• Programming skills, ideally in Python
• Independent and analytical way of working
• Reliable and thorough working style
• Fluent written and spoken English
• German language skills are advantageous
