**Job Description**
The doctoral scholarship holder will actively work on the preparation and defense of a PhD thesis in the field of Organic Synthesis within the Vroemans group at the Department of Chemistry. This involves designing, synthesizing, and applying organic molecules for sustainable chemistry, focusing on areas such as chiral/heterocyclic molecules, green and biobased chemistry, and polymer additives. The role also includes conducting research, publishing scientific articles, and performing teaching, research, and service support tasks for the Department.

**Qualifications**
Required Degree(s) in:
• Chemistry
• Bio-engineering (with specialization in chemistry)
• Applied sciences (engineering) (with specialization in chemistry)
• Civil engineering (with specialization in chemistry)
